On-Site Jewelry Insurance Appraisal

We offer jewelry appraisal service for our customers who are looking to have their jewelry insured through an insurance company. In order to have your jewelry insured, many insurance companies require a jewelry appraisal document that appraises the value of your jewelry at current market value. Or Diamond understands that your jewelry is very special to you so our appraiser can examine your jewelry in store and have your appraisal turnaround time as fast as the same day.

What is the process to getting your jewelry appraised?
  1. Our customers bring in their jewelry for an appraisal.
  2. If you do not have a complex jewelry or have more than one item to be appraised, you can drop your item off for same day appraisal, assuming we are not busy with prior service drop offs. Because we have an on-site appraiser, we can also examine and appraise your jewelry while you wait, so you do not have to leave your jewelry with us. Please contact us for our availability.
  3. After the examination which usually takes about 15-60 minutes, your jewelry will be returned to you, and we will then email you a digital copy within 1-3 business days; the digital form is what most insurance company need. We will also mail you a hard copy at which you will receive within 7 business days, or you can choose to pick the hard copy up in-store. Express same-day document is available with an additional express fee.
